In the era of smaller staffs, more workload, shorter deadlines and the greatest of demands, it is the honor of The Lone Star Emmy Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences to recognize all of you who have worked so hard to strive for the highest standard.
Tonight we salute your dedication to providing the best of what our industry delivers.
Congratulations are due to both nominees and award recipients for being singled out for your accomplishments.
This year, we are very proud to announce that our membership has now surpassed the 1200-member mark, making The Lone Star Chapter the second-largest chapter in the nation behind only New York. This is an incredible milestone considering this is only our twelfth year as an independent chapter of the National Academy. I, along with the chapter’s Board of Governors, professional staff and volunteer leaders wish to thank you for your continued participation and support of the Lone Star Emmy Awards.
The Lone Star Chapter is recognized by the National Academy as not only a thriving chapter, but one of the most dynamic and progressive as well. We award more scholarship dollars to students - future broadcasters - than any other chapter in the nation. We can only do that through your membership participation. So the next time you renew that membership, encourage a colleague to do the same and know that you are directly benefiting students who
